• Day in day out – постоянно, изо дня в день. I can’t imagine doing that day in day out.
  

• Days are numbered – дни сочтены. Your days are numbered, Mr. Forello.

• Day in court – возможность высказаться. Dawson and Downey will have their day in court but will have with another lawyer.

• Made my day – «сделал мой день», осчастливил. You just made my day.

• To the day – ровно, четко (с прошедшими временными промежутками). That’s 20 years to the day!

• This day and age – в наше время, сейчас. Not that we care about such things in this day and age.

• In my day – в мое время (в прошлом). In my day family stayed together.

• Those were the days – хорошее было время. Ah, those were the days!

• The old days – былые времена. Vincent used to work here in the old days.

• Good old days – старые добрые времена. Them were the good old days.
